Quartz finish resurfacing
Failed quartz and hollow coping off, smooth pebble on.

A white fine-pebble interior, a new waterline band, tile on the step edges, and the repaired coping surround finished in a platinum gray deck coating.
The room reads as one space again instead of a pool with problems around it.
Indoor resurfacing

Why indoor pools are different
An indoor pool gets used all year, and the work is not at the mercy of the forecast. No weather delays and a job that runs straight through are worth real days in a wet January.
This one was built in the early eighties and had reached the point where a renovation made more sense than another repair. The plaster had aged badly, tile was letting go along the waterline, and there was rust in the coping surround.
Loose tile came off, the waterline and step edges were retiled, and the rust-affected areas of the surround were cut out and repaired before anything was coated.
Color matters more indoors than out. An outdoor pool reflects open sky; an indoor one reflects the walls, the ceiling and whatever lighting is in the room.
A white interior keeps the water bright in a room that has no sky to borrow from.
Surfaces we have brought back
Other interiors taken back to bare concrete and finished again.

The interior, the waterline and the coping surround were dealt with together, so the room reads as one space rather than a pool with problems around it.

This week on the job
Short clips from real visits. Nothing staged, nothing bought from a stock library.
The schedule is. There are no weather delays and the job can run straight through, which in a wet January is worth real days. The dust is the harder part, and the room has to be cleaned before handover.
Yes. An outdoor pool reflects open sky; an indoor one reflects the walls, the ceiling, the windows and the lighting. A white interior keeps the water bright, while a dark finish in the same room reads closer to black.
Look up. Rust on ceiling fixings or blistering paint means the room has a humidity problem, and that will eat the new surface exactly as it ate the old one.

Pool interior resurfacing
Tired plaster or quartz, loose waterline tile, rust around the coping — resurfacing lifts the whole room, provided the humidity in it is under control first.
