Which one are you looking for?
Four questions that settle it
Walk out to the pool and answer them in order. The first problem you hit is the one to deal with first.
Can you clearly see the floor of the deep end?
If not, the water needs a recovery before anything else. Nobody can price a green pool from a web form.
Is the plaster one even color?
If stains will not lift with brushing, they are in the surface rather than on it, and that is an acid wash.
Does everything on the pad run?
Pump, filter, heater, salt cell, lights, automation. If one has stopped, start there — the water follows the equipment.
Has the pool been replastered in the last month?
Then it needs a start-up programme now rather than later: the first four weeks decide how the finish looks for a decade.

What we do not do
Two jobs we turn down, and the reason for each.
- We do not sell one-time routine cleanings. A single clean on a pool nobody is looking after buys about a fortnight. What it usually needs is a green-to-clean or an acid wash.
- We do not build new pools from scratch. Resurfacing, replastering and remodelling an existing pool we do ourselves, under licence #970493, classifications C-53 and C-61/D-35.

Questions people ask about pool services
What does a pool service include?
A weekly visit covers four things. Chemistry: pH, alkalinity, free and total chlorine, TDS, cyanuric acid, phosphate, calcium hardness and salt, tested and adjusted. Cleaning: surface netted, floor vacuumed, tile and walls brushed. Circulation: baskets emptied, pump run times and time clocks set for the season. Equipment: automation, pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, blowers, lights, auto-fills, valves and automatic cleaners inspected.
Which service does my pool actually need?
Work through the four questions above. If more than one applies, the order is usually equipment, then water, then surface — there is no point clearing a pool the filtration cannot hold. If none applies, weekly service is the whole answer.
Can I book a single visit instead of ongoing service?
Not for routine cleaning. The one-time services we do sell are specific procedures — green to clean from $349, acid wash from $749, equipment repair at $175 an hour, a filter clean from $149 and new plaster start-up from $595 — and you can book any of them without becoming a weekly client. Members get 20% off them and priority scheduling.
Do you look after spas as well as pools?
Yes, on the same weekly plan. A spa is a second body of water with its own chemistry, heater and often its own automation, so it is genuine extra work — one of the reasons two quotes for the same pool can differ.
How much do these services cost?
Weekly service starts at $159 a month for a pool up to 15,000 gallons and $179 for the 15,000 to 25,000 gallon range; most customers pay between $179 and $249, standard chemicals included. One-time work is quoted after we have seen it. Diagnosis is $150, and most repairs land between $300 and $1,500.
