Once the build-up is gone the surface can be judged honestly: loose tiles, cracks and rust marks are repair work, a finish worn through wants resurfacing, and a surface past cleaning wants tiling.

How a one-time clean is booked
Four steps, in this order
Nobody can price a neglected pool from a web form, so the first step costs nothing.
- Send clear photos. The whole pool, close-ups of the staining or damage, and whether it is full or empty today.
- Confirm the scope. Water maintenance, cleaning, repair and resurfacing are separated before anything is quoted.
- Plan safe draining. Surface, weather, groundwater and the hydrostatic valve all decide whether the shell can be emptied.
- Clean, then assess. With the build-up off, the visible defects and the likely repair priorities are easy to judge.

Common questions about pool cleaning
Do you provide weekly or monthly pool cleaning?
No. This page is a one-time specialist clean for a neglected concrete pool. Weekly visits, routine vacuuming, water testing and ongoing chemical maintenance are a different service — see weekly pool maintenance.
Do you clean green pool water?
We are not a water-only treatment company. A technician may need to deal with the water first. Our work is the pool interior, tiles, fittings and visible contamination, usually once the water is out.
Does the pool need to be emptied?
Most complete interior cleans do. Cleaning the upper waterline tile rows can sometimes be done with the pool still full. Photos let us confirm the likely method before anyone commits to draining.
Can cleaning remove every stain?
No result is promised before the stain and the surface are seen. Cleaning improves contamination, calcium and surface staining where the finish is still sound. Rust, failed paint, worn render and cracks need repair or resurfacing instead.
Can fallen tiles be re-laid during the clean?
Re-laying suitable fallen tiles is part of the basic package, but only where the substrate around them is sound. If the nearby render or tiles are loose, that is a larger repair rather than reattaching one tile.
What is the pool condition report used for?
It records the visible condition of the surface and the concrete structure and can carry repair recommendations. It suits a sale, a purchase, an insurance inquiry, renovation planning or checking somebody else's quote. It is not a barrier-compliance or certification report.
When is the best time to empty a pool for cleaning?
Autumn, winter and spring are usually preferred, depending on the surface and the weather. Heat raises the risk of an exposed finish cracking, going hollow or lifting, and a fully tiled pool is the most vulnerable of all.
Do you clean fiberglass pools?
No. This is work on existing tiled, rendered and painted swimming pools with concrete shells.
