Is a pool cover worth it with this many trees?
It keeps leaves out, and on a pool swum only at weekends it genuinely cuts the debris load. The trade is honest: it has to come off and go back on, it collects its own wet layer on top, and the water underneath still needs circulating. For a pool used all year, a leaf net over the heaviest drop is usually the better compromise.
My pool is from the 1960s and the equipment is original. Must it all be replaced at once?
No. We diagnose what actually failed and repair it where the part can be saved. The sensible order is whatever is stopping the pool today, then the pump if it is single-speed on long run times, then the heater. Old plumbing lasts a long time provided someone looks at it weekly and says what has changed.
