• It follows the surface below it. Pitting, undulations, old repair lines and texture can stay visible — usually far less so once the pool is full of water.
• Pinholes can form. Air trapped in the concrete rises through wet epoxy. We deal with them during preparation and between coats.
• Paint is not a structural repair. Structural leaks, active movement and significant concrete defects have to be assessed and repaired in their own right.
• Rust is not painted over. Rust staining should be found and treated before a new coating goes on. Covering a stain with paint is not a rust repair.
• Touch-dry is not cured. A newly painted pool normally stays empty at least seven days, and longer in cooler weather.
